At Breathing Space with Gecko, we provide nurturing, heart-centered in-home child care designed to support the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. WA owned and operated, our small, home-based setting offers children a calm and caring space to grow, explore, and simply be themselves.

Whether you're seeking daily child care or support with child safety, our goal is to be a peaceful, reliable presence in your family’s life.
We offer an in-home child care alternative for families. Our service provides a solution that fills the small gaps left by today’s extremely busy and stressful everyday lives. From school runs, all day/ vacation care, 24/7 support to allow you to have a night off (or out!) or even just coming in so you can have a break, no job is too big or too small for us.
We help any families requiring assistance including parents/carers who work non-standard hours (outside of normal childcare hours), parents/carers who are geographically isolated from other care options (especially those in rural or remote areas). We also provide support to families with challenging or complex needs, including where families are experiencing challenging situations where other childcare services cannot meet the needs of the child or the family.
We are pleased to be able to offer the child care subsidy to those families who qualify for it.

Where to start!
Our family is very luck to have met Krista through our local gym. After seeing her interact with my eldest son and then finding out she ran an In Home Care service, it wasn’t a hard decision to choose her company to look after our babies.
This week we left Krista with our 10 week old twins and 7 year old son. It was a last minute decision to get someone in for the few hours we couldn’t be home. Thankfully, Krista made herself available to come and help our family out.
It was nice to be able to come straight home without all the running around I would have had to do if the babies were in daycare. My son enjoyed spending time with Krista and I’m sure my baby twins did as well.
I highly recommend Krista to anyone and everyone.
