  • Contact the In Home Care Support Agency of Western Australia to apply for In Home Care. The team will assess your eligibility and create a Family Management Plan. Email the team at info@ihcsupportagencywa.org.au.

  • In Home Care is for families who cannot access other types of approved care.

    This could be due to:
    1. non-standard or variable work hours
    2. geographic isolation from other types of care
    3. complex or challenging needs

  • Yes. Depending on your Family Management Plan, your Educator can provide care to multiple children of different ages, within the same family.

  • By law, all In Home Care Educators must:

    • be at least 18 years old

    • be fully vaccinated against COVID19

    • have attained (or actively working towards) a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education

    • hold a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (no older than six months)

    • hold a current Working with Children Check for Western Australia

    • hold a current first aid qualification

    • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or have a relevant visa to allow employment on a continuous basis for 12 months or more

    • hold a valid full drivers license for Western Australia and a comprehensively insured vehicle
