About Us
We opened our doors in April 2018, and from there we have gone from strength to strength.
Our goal, aim and motto is ‘To help children with their social, emotional and educational growth in a safe, familiar and caring environment.’
Owner and Operator Krista has been working with children for over 2 decades in various environments including the Scout Association of Western Australia and Safe Balance WA. During which she identified the need for children affected by the busy WA lifestyle.
From there she embarked with Breathing Space with Gecko and has had over 15 Educators and has helped countless families across WA, ranging from the Wheatbelt to Esperance.
Our Approach
We offer an in home child care alternative for families. Our service provides a solution that fills the small gaps left by today’s extremely busy and stressful everyday lives.
Where available, our in home care is subsidised by the Australian Government Department of Education, but we also offer out-of-scope, flexible private care to cater to the needs of busy family life.
We help any families requiring assistance including parents/carers who work outside of normal childcare hours and parents/carers who are geographically isolated from other care options.
We also provide support to families with complex needs, including where families are experiencing challenging situations where other childcare services cannot meet the needs of the child or the family.
